Okay every designer knows how it feels when one of their cherished creations fall at the first hurdle, It's a mixture of emotions ranging from sorrow to amazement. Sorrow for the soon to be forgotten design, that looked and felt so right while you carefully crafted it into life, and amazement to how come no-one else had seen the same potential in this beauty as you did, meanwhile your least favourite option is now proudly wearing the winning rosette.
While we can't always account for personal preference, we can honour these forgotten designs and bring them back to life for one more time. The also-rans represents design work that for one reason or another has not been chosen to be published. Maybe another option was chosen or maybe the project was cancelled, either way, we feel that it only fair these forgotten designs be given a lease of life they deserve as otherwise they would be destined for a life of perpetual darkness in a backup somewhere never to be seen again.
